IPS Securex to embark on a product-launching spree

The outlook looks rosy for this security firm.

Catalist-listed IPS Securex is expected to embark on a spree for more partnerships and broader range of products, as it seeks to clinch more clients in security-hungry ASEAN.

According to CIMB, IPS Securex has a first-mover advantage and healthy cash position, along with two game-changing products which are expected to book sales of around $35m.

“The recent string of unfortunate events and terrorist attacks are signals to government bodies to take security threats seriously. Many nations in the Asia-Pacific region have taken steps to boost their defence budgets (despite the uncertain economic outlook) and invest in security infrastructure. SIPRI projects that ASEAN military expenditure will exceed US$40bn in 2016,” stated CIMB.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.

Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.

We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.

If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
