Kemin breaks ground on $44.8m Singapore centre
The four-storey Kuriosity Centre will accommodate more than 140 employees.
Kemin Industries has held a foundation-laying ceremony for its new Kuriosity Centre at the company’s Asia-Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore.
The facility represents an investment of approximately $44.8m (US$35m) and is supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board.
The four-storey development will span 5,880 square metres (sqm) and have a proposed gross floor area of about 9,685 sqm.
Designed to accommodate more than 140 employees, the centre will connect to Kemin’s existing campus through a covered bridge.
It will bring together the company’s regional research, technical expertise, business operations and customer-facing functions in one location.
The centre is expected to support the development of feed, animal-nutrition and food-technology solutions for customers across Asia-Pacific.
Kemin said the investment would also support talent development and create opportunities for innovation and employment in Singapore as its regional operations expand.
The company has served the Asia-Pacific market for nearly 40 years and established its permanent presence in Singapore 33 years ago.
