LipLase Laser: Get Fuller Lips without Fillers

What Causes Thin Lips?

Lip size is affected by genetics and loss of collagen. The lip thinning process can begin as early as age 25 and becomes noticeably thinner in the 30s and 40s. This is due to the natural aging process where collagen in the lips decline, leaving the lips thinner.

HOW IT WORKS

Non-Invasive Lip Plumping Laser

For those who wish to restore a more youthful pout but aren’t a fan of fillers, LipLase provides a safe, natural, and long lasting alternative to lip fillers.

Fotona LipLase therapy utilises Fotona’s Erbium:YAG laser to stimulate new collagen production in the lips. Through carefully customised passes, optical energy is transmitted in single sub-second long pulse sequences to avoid heat. In 6-7 pulses, surface tissue in the lips triggers new collagen production, resulting in plumper and fuller lips. Patients who wish to have deeper collagen stimulation can benefit from the laser’s PIANO mode, where treatment is done intra-orally on the mucosal lining of the lips. This reaches deeper skin tissues and is painless.

Lip plumping by LipLase™ happens in three stages:

Stage 1: Some edema will appear immediately after treatment and will last for about a week. Instant volumisation.
Stage 2: There might be some surface peeling, but this is normal and will last for 48 hours post-treatment at most. Patients will be given the necessary moisturising oils to prevent a high amount of peeling.
Stage 3: Neo-collagenesis happens, which is the development of new collagen.

The whole treatment is fast and comfortable, taking about 20 minutes. While patients can see a significant improvement immediately after leaving the room, the results will continue to improve after the prescribed number of sessions.
