Confidential Counselling for Healthier, More Resilient Employees
A resilient workforce is at the heart of every successful business. Yet, stress, personal struggles, and workplace challenges can affect employees at every level, from frontline staff to senior leadership.
At Sofia Wellness Clinic, our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provides confidential and professional counselling to foster higher productivity, stronger morale, and a healthier workplace culture.

What Is The Employee Assistance Programme?
EAP is a workplace wellness initiative that offers employees access to professional counselling services. It helps individuals manage stress, relationship issues, mental health concerns, and other challenges that may impact their work and personal lives. By offering EAP, employers demonstrate a strong commitment to their employees’ well-being and organisational health.
What Are The Benefits Of An Employee Assistance Programme?
From improving productivity to enhancing morale, investing in employee well-being through an EAP can create a more engaged, balanced, and high-performing workplace.
- Boost Productivity: By addressing personal challenges early, employees are better able to stay focused and engaged at work.
- Reduce Absenteeism: Providing timely support helps prevent stress or mental health concerns from escalating into prolonged absences.
- Enhance Morale: When a workplace culture prioritises well-being, it builds trust, loyalty, and a stronger sense of belonging among employees.
- Strengthen Resilience: Equipping employees with effective coping strategies enables them to manage crises or transitions with greater confidence and stability.
What Does Our Employee Assistance Programme Include?
Our EAP is designed to provide comprehensive support that promotes emotional well-being, resilience, and a positive workplace culture. It combines the following aspects to help employees navigate challenges effectively and maintain optimal performance.
Confidential Counselling Sessions
Employees can access private, one-on-one sessions with our trained therapists to work through stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and other personal struggles that may affect their well-being and job performance. We also offer online counselling sessions for those who prefer remote support.
Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)
During unexpected workplace crises such as accidents, sudden layoffs, violence, or harassment, we offer immediate counselling support to help employees process their experiences, restore a sense of safety, and regain resilience.
Workplace Well-Being Workshops
Our interactive workshops equip employees with practical skills to manage stress, prevent burnout, and strengthen workplace relationships. Covering topics such as mindfulness, communication, and resilience, these sessions can create a lasting positive impact.
Mental Health Screenings
Through confidential screenings, employees can identify early warning signs of stress, anxiety, or other mental health concerns. These assessments support timely intervention and can help your organisation ensure proactive care for employees.

We believe that supporting employee well-being should be simple and accessible. Our EAP is billed on a pay-per-use basis, so organisations only pay for the sessions their employees use. At the end of each month, charges are based on the number of coupon codes redeemed on Acuity Scheduling.
Counselling fees are the same for both in-office and online sessions, and we offer a 10% discount on standard individual counselling rates for sessions billed to the organisation.

FAQs About The EAP
Is the EAP confidential?
Yes. All information shared during counselling sessions remains private between the employee and clinician. Details are not shared with HR unless required by law, or in situations where there is a risk of harm to self or others, or under a court order.
Who can access the EAP services?
When registering for the EAP, companies provide a list of eligible employees to us for verification. Once an employee requests an appointment, our support team cross-checks the request against the company’s list to confirm eligibility.
What kinds of concerns can the EAP address?
The EAP supports employees in managing workplace stress, burnout, and emotional regulation. It also helps with improving morale, productivity, and overall job performance. Beyond work, employees can benefit from guidance that strengthens their personal well-being and resilience.
Are EAP sessions available after hours?
Our EAP offers flexible appointment times to suit different schedules. We operate extended hours on weekdays until 11pm, with additional availability on Saturdays and Sundays. This allows individuals to access support at a time that best fits their personal and work commitments, without the need for special after-hours sessions.
