Deed Poll Online in Singapore

This is a private legal service provided by a law firm in Singapore. We assist individuals with preparing and witnessing Deed Polls for name change purposes. This service is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency.

You may apply to prepare a Singapore Deed Poll (Name Change in Singapore) for an Adult or Minor (under 21). After submitting this form, please check your email and book an appointment for Adult or Minor. To estimate the cost of our legal services, please use our Deed Poll Fee Calculator.

The applicant must be physically present in Singapore to sign the Deed Poll in person at our office. Wet ink signature is required. Virtual or remote appointments are not permitted.

If you are not a Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR, please do not use this service unless your National Immigration Authority accept a Singapore executed Deed Poll.

For Singapore PR, you will only be able to change your name in your Singapore Blue NRIC but not your name in your Foreign Passport. You are strongly advised to check with your National Immigration Authority on issues relating to your Foreign Passport and validity of a Singapore Deed Poll. ICA may require you to change your name in your Foreign Passport before you can change the name in your Singapore NRIC.

For Non-Singapore PR (Foreigner) who wishes to use our Deed Poll services, we will assist to prepare the Deed Poll, but there is no warranty that the Deed Poll will be suitable for whatever purpose(s) that you have intended for.

You should also enquire with ICA at www.ica.gov.sg on whether your proposed name change will affect your Entry or Re-Entry Permit.

For Minor's change of name (including but not limited to surname), occasionally, ICA may not process the change of name or require both parents to sign the Deed Poll, which are circumstances beyond our control. Please see ICA Change of Particulars and Single Parent's Declaration Form.

Optional. If you require certified true copy (CTC) by our lawyer of your Deed Poll, each CTC is S$10.00 (net) in additional to our standard charges. If you don't need CTC, you need not apply. For more info, please read our help article.
