Our Key Services:
🖊️ Notarisation of Documents
Firstly, we authenticate signatures and verify document execution for legal and official purposes.
📄 Certified True Copies (CTC)
Secondly, we certify copies of original documents as true and accurate reproductions, including ACRA documents. However, for documents that require Singpass endorsement or authentication, please read our help article.
🌐 Apostille (Mandatory)
Thirdly, we will issue the Notarial Certificate after payment of a physical Apostille (default) or e-Apostille certificate from the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), and the client will have to collect the physical Apostille from SAL himself.
✍️ Witnessing of Signature
In addition, we attest the signing of documents before the Notary for use overseas.
⚖️ Statutory Declarations & Affidavits
Moreover, we administer and witness statutory declarations and affidavits for use overseas. However, for Singapore court proceedings, our Commissioner for Oaths services are appropriate instead.
📄 Corporate Document Notarisation
For company-specific documents requiring notarisation including ACRA Business Profiles, Constitution or Memorandum & Articles of Association, board resolutions, and certificates of good standing. Refer to our Singapore corporate legal services for drafting support on commercial agreements.
🎓 Notarial Certificates
Finally, after payment of the Apostille to SAL, we issue formal notarial certificates confirming identity, execution or the content of documents.

- e-Apostille (subject to acceptance by recipient)

e-Apostille & e-Notarisation in Singapore
The default mode is still hardcoopy or physical Apostille, If required, Loh Eben Ong LLP can assist in the Singapore Academy of Law’s (SAL) e-Apostille for Notarised Documents Programme. This means your notarised documents can now be authenticated digitally — no need to collect a physical Apostille certificate from SAL’s office (subject to conditions).
With e-Notarisation, your Notary Public uploads the notarised document to the SAL Legalisation Portal, which issues an e-Notarial Certificate (e-NC) and an e-Apostille electronically. You and your overseas recipient receive access via a secure email link.
Before opting for the e-Apostille, please confirm with the overseas recipient that they will accept the e-Apostille for the intended purpose. If the recipient has not confirmed acceptance, or if you are unsure, a physical Apostille will be issued instead. Physical Apostilles remain available for all notarised documents.

Apostille with SAL & Direct Apostille
Since 16 September 2021, all notarised documents in Singapore must include an Apostille for validity overseas. The Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) is the sole competent authority for issuing Apostilles in Singapore.
Why Every Notarised Document Requires an Apostille
Notary Issues Notarial Certificate
Firstly, your Notary Public prepares the Notarial Certificate after you pay the Apostille fee.
Binding of Documents
Next, the Notary binds the Notarial Certificate with your notarised documents.
SAL Apostille
Finally, SAL affixes the Apostille, whether digital or physical, to the Notarial Certificate.
⚠️ Important
Some clients mistakenly think they do not need an Apostille. In reality, the Apostille is compulsory for every notarised document in Singapore.
ℹ️ Direct Apostille (Without a Notary Public)
Certain Singapore government documents (such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, ACRA business profiles, and educational certificates) can receive an Apostille directly from SAL without notarisation, at a fee of $10 + GST ($10.70) per document. For more details, visit our Direct Apostille Guide.
