What makes up your CTC fees?

For one one-page document under one Notarial Certificate, the current calculator estimate is S$172.20, before optional services. The breakdown is S$10 for the certified true copy with seal, S$75 for the Notarial Certificate and S$87.20 for the SAL Apostille (S$80 plus GST).

Additional documents and pages affect the total. Use the calculator below for your combination; final fees depend on document review.

Can I bundle documents?

Certified true copies or certified true originals may share one Notarial Certificate and Apostille if the recipient accepts this arrangement. Bundling can save costs, but separate certificates may be required.

Witnessing cannot be bundled: each document requires its own Notarial Certificate and Apostille.

After notarisation, you or your representative must make a separate visit to SAL to collect the hardcopy Apostille.

Our office completes notarisation and issues the Notarial Certificate. Take the certificate and attached documents with you.

Collect the Apostille from SAL

Bring the Notarial Certificate and attached documents to SAL. You may attend yourself or arrange for a representative.

Paying the SAL fee through our office does not include collection by our firm. If you need us to collect, arrange this in advance. An additional service fee applies; courier delivery is separate.

An e-Apostille is available only by prior arrangement, subject to suitability and acceptance by your overseas recipient. Read about the electronic option and its limitations.

Prepare for certified true copy services

A certified true copy confirms that a copy matches the original produced to our Notary Public. What you need to provide depends on the source of the document.

Bring each physical original and the copies you need certified. A scan, photograph or screenshot alone is not a substitute for the original. Tell us how many sets the overseas recipient needs.

Send the original downloaded file, with any verification link, QR code, .oa or .opencert file. For school or university records, retain the institution’s original verifiable files. A PDF format alone does not establish authenticity. Do not print and rescan the file.

Send the original source email as an .eml or .msg file, with full headers, original message data and attachments intact. An ordinary forwarded email or the PDF alone is insufficient. Alternatively, ask the bank, employer, school or other issuer to email the document directly to us. Certification remains subject to our review.

For a signed power of attorney, board resolution, agreement or letter, we may require Singpass endorsement through LEO Sign, eLitigation DSS or another method of verification. This does not retrospectively witness the signature or, by itself, establish corporate authority. Read the Singpass endorsement guide.

Check before paying for notarisation

Some Singapore government documents qualify for a direct SAL Apostille. If SAL accepts the document and your overseas recipient does not require notarisation, this may avoid notarial fees.
