Choose the right Deed Poll quote

Your fee depends on the person changing their name and whether standard wording is suitable. An adult is aged 21 or above; a minor is under 21.

Citizens and PRs

Adult: $50 · Minor: $80

Select the Singapore citizen or Singapore permanent resident category. PRs should also check the name-change requirements for their foreign passport.

Foreigners who are not PRs

Adult: $100 · Minor: $150

Deed Poll quote: common questions

The current standard fee is $50 for an adult Singapore citizen or permanent resident and $80 for a minor. For foreigners who are not Singapore PRs, the standard fees are $100 for an adult and $150 for a minor. Choose the appropriate category in the calculator.

No GST is currently chargeable. Optional certified true copies cost $10 each. The calculator adds the number of copies you select to the applicable Deed Poll fee.

Ask us to review your requirements if you need special wording, an AKA or Right of Entry clause, or a document for a particular overseas authority. Customised work is estimated at $300 to $500, depending on the matter. The calculator starts at $300; this is not a fixed quotation for every special case.

For a person under 21, both birth parents should ordinarily consent and sign. Contact us first if only one parent can sign, with the relevant court order or other supporting documents. We must review the circumstances before confirming the appropriate document and fee.
