Power of Attorney Online in Singapore

Our Power of Attorney Online service saves you a trip to our office to give instructions. Instead, we draft your Singapore Power of Attorney, engross it, and then deposit a copy with the Supreme Court. So, just fill in the form below, and we will email you the next steps.

What this online form covers

This form covers three types of Power of Attorney. First, the sale, purchase, mortgage or management of private property in Singapore. Next, motor vehicle matters. Finally, All Affairs, also called a General Power of Attorney. However, this form does not cover an HDB flat or a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA). Instead, please use our HDB Power of Attorney or Lasting Power of Attorney forms. In addition, the Office of the Public Guardian explains how an LPA works.

Who can use this service

To use our Power of Attorney Online service, the Donor must be 21 years old or above, and 75 or below. They also need sound mental capacity at the time of signing. In addition, the Donor must sign freely and voluntarily, without undue influence, pressure or duress. Is the Donor aged 76 or above? Then please email your query to online@law.com.sg or call us at +65 6338 1810, because we would rather advise you personally. We will consider each case on its own facts.

As for All Affairs, we act only where the Donor speaks English. Furthermore, each All Affairs Power of Attorney has one Donor only. Meanwhile, for the other two types, we can take instructions in Mandarin or Hokkien. Of course, your Attorney, or Donee, need not come to our office to sign.

Signing in Singapore or overseas

In Singapore, you sign before one of our lawyers. Our office is at 135 Middle Road #05-11 Bylands Building, Singapore 188975. Overseas, you instead sign before a notary public. Some matters, such as CPF, also need legalisation at a Singapore Embassy or High Commission. You can therefore start a Power of Attorney Online application from almost anywhere. Afterwards, we deposit a copy with the Supreme Court of Singapore. Above all, please read the notes in the form, because they set out every step.

Power of Attorney Online fees and timing

Our fee depends on three things: the type of Power of Attorney, where you sign it, and the language of your instructions. Therefore, please request our latest POA Quote for current rates. Once we receive your instructions and the signed document, your Power of Attorney is usually ready in 2 to 3 working days.
